Firstly, you should use a browser that allows password encryption.
Firefox is your new best friend.
Firefox has a feature which allows you to use a master password for your saved passwords on your browser. This also encrypts your saved passwords. Therefore, your little "RAT" problem won't be able to use a password stealer for browser.

As for another problem, keyloggers.
You can easily install a keyscrambler on your computer which virtually "encrypts" the letters you type on your keyboard.

Stopping remote desktop:
This can be done by going to your computers properties > Remote Settings > Remote

then uncheck Allow Remote Assistance.
Side note: this can cause problems with other remote desktop programs such as skype sharing screens/teamviewer. You may have to checkmark it again if you want to use those during that moment of time.
